These "Chocolate Whipped Creams" are Kailh Cream switches that have been mechanically broken in for 320k+ actuations. The POM sliding on the POM simulates years of use, creating a smoother feel just like the vintage switches we all desire - without the dust, desoldering, ultrasonicing, spring swapping, and thrift shopping. This is especially prominent with the all POM Cream switch, as the material is self lubricating and really benefits from a break in period before lubing.

NOTE: Kailh switch pins are a little thicker, and do not play nicely with Mill-Max sockets. It is not recommended to use the two together, and returns for ruined switches from using Mill-Max with these are not accepted.

Lubing Recommendation

205g0 or bust. These linears benefit from a nice thick lube. Give the whole stem a nice light coat, and give the bottom housing sliders a medium coating. I also recommend a spring swap and oiling, as the stock springs are rather heavy, crunchy and overall not so good.

Films are typically not needed for Kailh Creams.

My daily driver PLA75 build uses 205g0 lubed Whipped Creams with 60g Slow I springs.

Device Information

I custom designed the machinery for this, and as a mechanical engineer you have my word that these switches are being broken in on precision machines, and not some silly "rock taped to a fan" device. This helps keep the stresses on the leaves to a minimum, as the pressing is no harsher than your fingers. The machine also introduces extremely slight oblique presses, as we never have perfectly centered and straight down presses when we type. This helps to wear the switches evenly and effectively.

Disclaimer

Sales on worked in switches are final, as this is a product with a service rendered upon it.
