CUPW, the union representing Canada Post's couriers and postal workers, has actioned their strike notice against Canada Post, and as of 12:01am on Nov 15, all CUPW workers are now on strike. This has resulted in a nation-wide disruption of parcel delivery, and until the strike is over, all parcel pickups and deliveries are suspended.
Please understand I have no control over this and am at the whims of Canada Post and CUPW to end this strike quickly and in cooperation with each other.
- What if my parcel is already in-transit?
This strike will affect parcels already within the mailstream. To what extent, I cannot say, nor can I say how the parcel will be kept whilst the strike is ongoing.
- Can I change my shipping method to be with FedEx/UPS/another courier?
I will not be making any changes to shipping rates until the end of next week (Fri Nov 22) in the event that the strike is resolved quickly.
I ask for your patience during this frustrating time. Existing orders that are held up by the strike will be processed with the utmost priority once Canada Post is back to work.
Refunds will not be issued for current orders.
Local Pickup, DHL, and UPS are unaffected. Please choose those rates if they are available in your region.
