BF/CM Info

Thank you to all my customers and friends that have helped to make RNDKBD what it is today - we've made it to another holiday season! We've got lots of products on sale until Nov 27, so please have a look and stock up while all your favorite keeb parts are cheap.

Fulfillment will still take place every day, please allow 3-4 days for your items to be shipped this time of year, as I'm just one dude trying to chug through the holiday shopping traffic.

All discount codes except for the free shipping codes are disabled during the sale.

All sales during this period are final. Please keep that in mind before clicking buy. I'm happy to edit orders and add/remove things, but outright cancellation requests will not be accepted during the sale.

Broken-in switches will be restocked every few days, as fast as I can make them.

Have fun, and enjoy the holiday season!

Hi, We're Andy and Marina

Hi, We're Andy and Marina

  • I'm a Mechanical Engineer from Red Deer turned keyboard dealer.
  • I'm a father of 8 (3D printers).
  • If I'm not packing orders or tuning printers, I'm riding bikes, watching/playing basketball, and/or enjoying a couple cold ones. Fantasy basketball is for losers.

  • I'm a Psychometrist from Vancouver turned keyboard dealer.
  • I'm a mother of 1 (crochet hook).
  • If I'm not packing orders or crocheting, I'm crocheting. I'm also better than Andy at fantasy basketball.

Our history

RNDKBD was unofficially started in 2018, after I designed and printed a case for vintage Apple Keycaps while interning at a firm that let me use the 3D printer they had outside of business hours. The board was called the ADK64, and after posting it to Reddit and Geekhack, people seemed to like it. From there I coordinated with Keyboardbelle to run a small group buy for it, so lets call that the genesis of RNDKBD.

By 2019 my modelling skills had progressed and I designed the PLA75 gasket mount 75% - again I worked with Keyboardbelle to have the GB units manufactured.

2020 forced me to adapt, and now I run my own printing operation, so I have full reign over the design, prototyping, manufacturing and QC of all my boards. Every board that comes off the printer is subject to the same high standards I hold for my own builds.

2021-2024 has been a blur. We've added so many products - everything I sell I personally use and vouch for. We may not have the most switches, but you can be confident that you're getting a selection of the absolute best. We also upgraded to a new shop, and tried our darndest to get orders out at lightning speed, and plan to keep doing so as long as we can!
